SCP-053, a.k.a. "The Little Girl" is a person with paranormal traits held by the fictional SCP Foundation. She’s a Euclid class object that takes the appearance of a small, 3 year old girl wearing a yellow dress with slightly above average intelligence a girl her age. SCP-053's Anomalous Effects take place when a human above the age of 3 enters her presence or makes eye contact with her for more than 10 minutes. Doing so will cause the human to become violent, paranoid, and irrational. All humans in her presence will be then attempt to kill each other before then trying to kill SCP-053. Attempting to harm SCP-053 in any form will result in the individual suddenly being struck down by some kind of internal organ failure such as a hear attack. The Little Girl will then regenerate from any physical damage she sustains and forget what just happened with blissful ignorance.

Because, The Little Girl has the ability to instantly kill anything that tries to hurt her, at one point the SCP Foundation attempted to use her lethal characteristics in an attempt to terminate SCP-682, the aptly named Hard-to-Destroy Reptile. However, rather than attack SCP-053, SCP-682 became highly protective of her and SCP-053's best and only friend. The theory goes that because SCP-682 is already filled with misanthropic, homicidal tendencies, it was unaffected by The Little Girl's cognitive hazard, and that it recognized that SCP-053's existence was one of being constantly hated and harmed by humanity. An existence that SCP-682 could relate to. Since, then SCP-053 was is one of the only beings in the Foundations lore that SCP-682 actually likes, and as such they are often paired with each other.
