Bonkers D. Bobcat is the titular protagonist of Disney's 1993-95 animated television series with the same name. Originally featured on Raw Toonage, he is a former star for cartoon shorts at Wackytoon Studios, an overly energetic and hyperactive, out-of-work, Toon bobcat who works in the Toon Division of the Hollywood P.D.

Bonkers and by extension the premise of his show is infamous for being a Disney knock-off of Roger Rabbit and not committing enough to the zaniness of their premise to preserve Disney's Family Friendly Brand. Because of this, references to Bonkers tends to be portrayed in a negative light as the beginning of the decline in quality to the shows that aired on Disney Afternoon. To the point of Bonkers Cameoing in the Ducktales (2017) Reboot just to get beaten up by other Disney Afternoon characters.
