The National College of Technical Professional Education (Conalep), is a public educational institution of upper secondary level in Mexico. It was founded in 1978 by José Antonio Padilla Segura. The institution's mission is to train technical professional students and high school technical professionals through a model based on competencies, in addition to offering several study careers to specialize. It is recognized as a training, evaluation and certification center for labor competencies and technological services.
