Pinky and the Brain is the name of both a recurring skit in the 1993 to 1998 American animated series Animaniacs (and its 2020 revival) and an American animated television series spun-off from that skit that ran from 1995 to 1998. It is about two genetically-engineered laboratory mice, good-natured but dimwitted mouse Pinky and intellectual, Orson Welles-like mouse The Brain, who spend every night from their mouse cage in Acme Labs trying to take over the world and its inhabitants.
