Also known as a "baby jumper," baby bouncers are devices which suspend the occupant in the air and have an elastic quality that causes a "bouncing" motion, hence the name. They generally consist of a hoop surrounding a layer of fabric with leg holes which is then suspended by elastic straps, usually so that the feet can barely touch the floor. Of course, there are many alternative designs, such as those that involve harnesses or a larger number of straps.

As the name implies, baby bouncers are intended for infants, though they are an often included in infantilism scenarios.
