mismatched genitalia

For when the species does not match the genitals, such as a feline possessing a canine penis.

This is a complicated subject that is still being refined. It is related to and can overlap with the anatomically inaccurate tag. One of the key differences is that this tag isn't restricted to feral body types.

Subtags

This concept is organized by type of genitalia (penis, pussy, etc), and separated by humanoid, and animal genital variants.

General guidelines

Restrictions and limitations
  • Does not apply to humanoids, including animal humanoids.
  • Probably does not apply to mythological and other fictional species (such as dragons). It will depend on how closely they resemble a real life species or a character's established genitals (if any).
  • The depicted genitalia should resemble a well established genitalia category (humanoid_penis, canine_penis, tapering_penis, etc)
    • Obscured or ambiguous examples are probably not a great fit for this tag.
    • Generic animal penises, and other genitalia is a grey area, and probably shouldn't be applicable. Use good judgment in this regard.
  • Hybrid genitalia that matches the species of a character doesn't apply towards this tag.

Characters that possess genitalia from multiple species serve as an exception to the above restrictions.

Applications
  • Characters with a well defined body resembling a real life species featuring genitalia that does not match the genitalia that species should have.
  • Characters that have the wrong genitalia for their species entirely are applicable for this tag, and also anatomically_inaccurate. Example - Most birds (males included) have a cloaca, not a penis.
  • Characters featuring multiple types of genitalia are applicable towards this tag. See varied_multi_penis.
