A broad copyright tag for the children's books originally written and drawn by Richard McClure Scarry (June 5, 1919 – April 30, 1994), as well as any and all adaptations of those books including the video game Richard Scarry's Busytown (1993/1999), and the animated TV series The Busy World of Richard Scarry (1994–1997) and Busytown Mysteries (2007–2010).

The books are primarily set in a world of friendly, hard-working anthropomorphic animals, with the main focus being on the citizens of the fictional town of Busytown.

• Lowly Worm – An earthworm who can (somehow) drive an apple-shaped car that also flies.
• Huckle Cat – A lovable seven-year-old cat who is the protagonist of the franchise. He aspires to be a pilot.
