Where's Waldo?, known as Where's Wally? outside North America, is a series of picture books written and illustrated by Martin Handford where the goal is to find a bespectacled man named Wally/Waldo, who wears a bobble hat and a red-and-white striped shirt, and carries a cane. The scenes where Wally/Waldo is hiding in are filled with complex imagery, making spotting him difficult. There are also a few recurring characters, including his friend Wenda, his nemesis Odlaw, his dog Woof, and Wizard Whitebeard.
