Bastekh'Met are an ancient species that has gone extinct several millennia ago, whose culture and mannerisms seem similar to the Egyptians on Earth.
They appear to have traits similar to jackals and felines, their most unique physiology being their long, double-jointed arms, and triple-jawed mouths.
They mummify/bury their dead in the same manner of the Egyptians, except the sarcophagi are sentient automatons, enabling the dead to remain alongside the living. These automaton-sarcophagi are commonly referred to as "Tomb Stalkers".
