The red-whiskered bulbul (Pycnonotus jocosus), also known as the crested bulbul is a passerine bird and member of the bulbul family, Pycnonotidae. It has brown upper parts including wings, back, and behind the head. It has white on its chest and belly area. It has a tall pointed black crest, red face patch and thin black moustachial line.
