The Ars Goetia concerns itself with summoning 72 high-ranking demonic lords, as well as their benefits to the summoner and any precautions needed to keep them from just killing the summoner (especially as far as Andras is concerned). Each demon has a title associated with it (though the title and the spelling of names varies from translation to translation).

Many of the demons listed in the Ars Goetia are present in the Megami Tensei series, with their appearances derived from their descriptions in the book itself.
