Species: giant leopard moth
The giant leopard moth, also known as the eyed tiger moth (Hypercompe scribonia) is a species of tiger moth. The wings of this moth are white with black splotches that may be hollowed out resembling the rosettes of leopards. The top of the abdomen may be dark blue with orange markings, while the underside is white with solid black spots.
