needler
The needler is an alien weapon analogous to an SMG from the Halo video game series. It fires shards of a pink, needle-like crystal, which explode when they embed into flesh. Seven or more will "supercombine" into a devastating blast, enough to kill the target, scatter their allies, and cook-off nearby grenades and Fusion Containment Cells.
