Gorefield refers to Garfield but more demented and gory, as the name would imply.

Typically, Gorefield has tendrils extruding out of it's body, along with a gaping mouth with long, sharp teeth. These features are typically exaggerated, along with some iterations involving features from horror films like the second set of jaws found in a Xenomorph.

Typically, Gorefield's main goal is to kill his owner, Jon Arbuckle, out of hunger for lasagna. Which is also commonly why Gorefield comes out of Garfield, But Gorefield has been depicted having killed other characters in the Garfield universe, mostly before going after Jon.
