a posture that reveals the neck (often by turning the head)
In body language, baring a vulnerable place is a gesture of safety and trust. One might bare the neck to seek touch, attraction, or simply the excitement of vulnerability. Other implications include confidence, dominance, submission, seduction, and provocation.
Artistically, a bared neck can amplify vulnerability, danger, and/or sexual tension.
