lotus pose
A sitting position where the characters legs are crossed, with their ankles resting on the opposite leg's shin. Often used for purposes of meditation, it's also a common position among several religions found in the Indian subcontinent, and is also a yoga position.
Not to be confused with
- butterfly sitting - Similar pose but leg are not crossed.
