
Species: old world monkey
Old world monkeys, monkeys in Cercopithecidae, are a family of monkeys mostly native to many environments within Africa and Asia, with a couple found in general Europe currently as well. Most are omnivorous with heavy preference for plant matter, and can live on ground or in trees. Old world monkeys have characteristic, narrow noses, as well as thin septums and downwards facing nostrils.
