A giant, fluffy kaiju that, despite the name, tends to resemble a butterfly. Mothra is one of the most consistently benevolent monsters in Toho's lineup when it comes to the treatment of humans, and for good reason: most of Mothra's lineage serve as protectors of Earth and humanity... excluding the occasional edgelord Battra who believes that humans are nothing but a danger to the planet, of course.
