Species: wolfbird
A mixture of bird, usually a hawk, and a wolf. The species is not artificially created, and tends to crop up in forested areas, with the nature of being feral or anthropomorphic having no set pattern.
Wolfbirds can be identified by the mostly lupine features, including arms, torso, and head, though the eyes tend towards an avian structure, or at the very least avian coloration. Their legs become scaly talons around halfway down, with their most notable features being the large wings on their back, with feathers only lining the bottom portion, and fur covering the rest. Also of note is the tail, which is entirely composed of feathers similar in color to all other feathers present.
These creatures can be different color patterns, but most commonly appear with dual colorations, feathers being one hue, and fur being another. Their talons are often yellow or orange, but can appear as darker colors, depending on the coloration of the wolfbird's other features.
