An evergreen bush that possesses woody branches and rounded leaves as well as edible berries. Lingonberries are popular in Scandinavian cuisine, especially Swedish Meatballs at Ikea.

Not to be confused with Red-berry Mistletoe (Viscum cruciatum and Viscum rotundifolium) as lingonberries are eaten, not kissed under or included in kissing_boughs, nor specifically related to the Christmas holiday.
