FUPA is an acronym for "Fat Upper Pubic Area".
It is a commonly trapezoidal fat pad bounded by the bottom of a character's belly, the top/start of their genitals, and on either side by where the character's crotch_lines/v-cut might be (the grooves created where the lower abdomen meets the upper thighs/hips).
