The Bull Terrier is a breed of dog in the terrier family. There is also a miniature version of this breed which is officially known as the Miniature Bull Terrier.

Their most distinct features are their shark-like heads and their unique eyes. Said eyes are triangular; a feature not found on any other dog breed.

The breed has a long history, having been bred for both fighting and vermin control, and is often targeted with breed-specific legislation. Despite this, a 2008 study in Germany didn't find them to be more aggressive than Golden Retrievers. They are actually good family dogs.
