Appearance:

She has white moth fluff around her neck and short white hair. She has four arms and each hand has three fingers. She has feathered antennae and long wings on her head. The dark spots on her head give the viewer the illusion that they are looking at the face of an actual Silk Worm moth. She has deep pink colored eyes and black sclera. Mashiro is usually seen wearing a traditional white Japanese Kimono with a red belt (Obi). She resides in a locked garden shed that is owned by the family of her human love interest.

Personality:

She is described as a manipulative type of Yandere character. She is very possessive and has a constant desire to be near and make love to her unrequited human love interest. Mashiro has a deceptively sweet, innocent, and childish personality that she shows towards our human protagonist. She traumatized her human lover when he was just a young boy. Fortunately for him, he managed to escape Mashiro. This caused Mashiro to be visibly upset. The experience has haunted the protagonist throughout his life. Mashiro would wait for years in the garden shed with hopes that her human lover would one day return to her. As our human protagonist grew, he decides to return to that shed where that traumatic event happened. He would face his deepest and greatest fear, Mashiro.In the latest installment of Layers of White, it is revealed that Mashiro had a daughter with the human protagonist.
