Cuff links are clasps used to button up the sleeves of a dress shirt. Strictly speaking, the term "cuff link" refers to the button itself. However, this tag generally connotes images where the rest of the sleeves are absent, with a bracelet-like "cuff" of fabric being secured by such a button. In general, this sleeveless cuff is used to imply that a character is in "formal wear" while actually wearing very little.
