Species: yuan-ti halfblood
Yuan-ti halfbloods, or malisons, are a caste of the serpentine yuan-ti from Dungeons & Dragons. True to their name, they tend to be halfway between snake and human—while they still have recognizably human traits, there is no chance that they could be mistaken for humans. The mix of human and serpent traits can manifest themselves in a wide variety of ways:
- A lamia-like form, human from the waist up with the body of a serpent below.
- A human body with a serpentine animal head.
- The form of a human, but fully covered in scales.
- A human body with snakes in place of arms.
Depending on their form, yuan-ti halfbloods may be tagged as humanoids; for the most part, however, their overtly serpentine features will qualify them for another species.
