Species: cotingid
Cotingids, members of the Cotingidae, are a family of passerine birds.
Cotingids are primarily frugivorous, with hook tipped bills, rounded wings, and strong legs. Members of the family vary greatly in size and physical appearance, ranging from very small to large, and are extremely varied both in form and color. Males of many species are well known for their brightly colored, shiny, and ornamental plumage. They also have non-plumage related features used for courtship, such as head crests, inflatable throat sacs, and wattles. Cotingas are also known for their very loud voices.
