Species: tatsu (neopets)

The Tatsu (from Japanese 辰 tatsu, meaning "sign of the dragon") was an extinct species of Neopet created to replace the Cerpull on July 13, 2000, but hit with severe public backlash from Cerpull owners due to their having a considerably less intimidating design. They were the species to spend the shortest amount of time on the Neopets website before being retired, only lasting six months before being replaced with the Eyrie after a user poll on January 26, 2001.

They resembled a dragon with a beak, have small arms and small wings, and are slightly chubby compared to other species, made more noticeable by their being one of the only species at the time to stand upright.
