Blue Sky Studios was an American computer animation film studio. The studio was founded in 1987, and had worked on visual effects for commercials and films before completely dedicating itself to animated film production in 2002. Ice Age and Rio were the studio's most successful franchises.

The studio became a part of Disney when Blue Sky's parent company 20th Century Fox was acquired by The Walt Disney Company on March 20, 2019. The studio was shut down officially on April 7, 2021 due to the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

For the sake of consistency, this tag will not be implicated to Disney for the time being.
