Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is a crossover fighting video game for the Nintendo Switch that serves as the fifth entry of the Super Smash Bros. series published by Nintendo. It was released on December 7, 2018. It boasts the largest roster of fighters in the series' history, with all fighters who appeared in previous games in the series, including all third-party and DLC characters, making a return, as well as a number of new fighters. It also boasts the largest amount of stages and the largest soundtrack in the series; there are 103 stages (not including Ω and the new Battlefield forms of all stages, and if Battlefield, Big Battlefield, and Final Destination are excluded, there are exactly 100 stages) and roughly 900 music tracks (totaling over 28 hours worth of video game music).
