Evolution charts are charts or a series of gradual images or sequences depicting a creature's changes within their evolutionary development. These forms of charts and artworks were first made famous in the piece The Road to Homo Sapiens which depicted the 25 million year evolution of man from early primates and hominids.

Often they involve creatures in a line or row, usually facing the same direction, and traditionally a side view. However, they can also be portrayed less linearly, often opting to use directional arrows to display the images in correct evolutionary order. Sometimes they contain text holding various forms of data, such as a species' names or their dimensions.
