Character: mugman

Mugman is the deuteragonist of Cuphead. He is the younger twin brother of Cuphead. He is the second player character by default, although as of an April 2019 update, the first player can choose to play as him instead of Cuphead.

Cuphead and Mugman are anthropomorphic characters whose heads are a cup and a mug respectively, each with a striped straw in them. They also both have a rounded nose, and wear a black shirt, a pair of shorts, gloves, and shoes. Cuphead's nose, shorts, and straw are red, whereas those of Mugman are blue. In addition, Cuphead's eyes are larger and his straw has a bend in it, whereas Mugman has a larger nose and slightly thinner head than his brother.

Though he is fun-loving like Cuphead, Mugman's personality is shown to be careful and less rash compared to his brother, who he acts as the voice of reason for. This is shown when he begs Cuphead to not make the deal with The Devil, as that would end up costing them their souls in the introduction.
