Velvet Hoofstrongdottr is a female reindeer and the champion of the deerfolk from The Tundra. She serves as one of the main characters of Them's Fightin' Herds and is part of the original roster, providing keepaway type of zoning gameplay. She has ice powers, is very vain, and is an expy of MLP's Rarity.

Velvet recognized by her light fluffy chest (floof), blue antlers and hooves, blue eyes, and tan/yellow two tone fur. (Sometimes brown or orange, depending on the artist.) One of her most notable alternate color schemes gives her gray fur with pink antlers.

Note that "Velvet Reindeer" is an outdated tag, and her surname is canonically Hoofstrongdottr. (The -dottr meaning "daughter of" Hoofstrong in Norse languages.)
