Lift can mean many things. This tag should be removed and replaced with a more appropriate tag.

Actions:

• carrying - Carrying implies a character being fully supported by another character for a duration of time or from one place to another. There are different types of carry positions. Not the same as lifting, which primarily features characters being raised off of the ground.
• lifting - Lifting implies a character is being partially or in some cases fully raised off the ground. Not the same as carrying, which may overlap, but primarily features characters in positions designed for moving someone from one place to another. A carry position is designed for carrying. A lifting position is designed for lifting, and sometimes also carrying.
• lifted - A character being fully supported by another character in a lifting position.

• weightlifting - Does not need to show weights actually being lifted.

For raised body parts, use the raised prefix.

Lifting Devices:

• aerial_lift - A type of mechanical lift that transports passengers on platforms suspended by moving cables.
• chairlift - Aerial lift using chairs as platforms.
• gondola_lift - Aerial lift using cabins as platforms.
• ski_lift - A lift used to transport skiers up a mountain. It is commonly a form of chairlift.
• elevator - A platform or cage used to lift or lower heavy loads.
• forklift - A vehicle designed for lifting and carrying heavy loads.
