Description
This one grew while I painted it and wasn't planned from the start.
Not even used references used for the owl. For the flowers, I wanted a metallic
look. I checked for metal roses.
Further, I wanted the portrait to look like an old photo, when they used photoplates which
needed much more light, the background would be darker at the borders of the photo.
There got AI in my way; the picture-search is filled with AI-Generated
"old photos". No damaged photos, no stains or fissures on the surface.
Best examples what is was looking for would be (Movies) "Die Nibelungen" by Fritz Land 1928
or The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (1920) by Robert Wiene
