What a friendly dude!

He’s a fan of Professor Backpack. He owns all of his books and he (privately) acts like a little kid when he gets to go to one of the Prof’s lectures.

Even if he’s not the confrontational type, he will get revenge if you wrong him. He’s very good at keeping grudges too, so you never know when he’s going to retaliate. The magician who had him jump out of a hat before the start of his career got all of his numbers tampered with for months. Phantom gets his fair share of retaliations after his usual interruptions to Alabaster’s numbers.

He has built various secret passages in the Space Opera Network to sneak around unnoticed or to “teleport” quickly between floors. He thinks he’s so sneaky and nobody knows about them, but everyone knows. They just don’t know where they are (apart from Phantom who got into one one day when phasing through a wall).

He’s good with tricks involving cards, but he sucks at actually playing. At Uno he always ends up like this:

He originally never planned to be a magician. However, his knowledge of secret passages, mirror illusions and overall secretive personality had him noticed by the circus that first engaged him. He was in charge of coming up and build some of the contraptions and props used by the circus’ magician. He also had to jump out of the hat, but that was an unrelated thing.

Due to his cold and reserved personality, Phantom has made one of his life missions to make Alabaster have a sincere laugh at least once. In every of his tries, the most he ever got was a half-amused smirk. Meanwhile Alabaster took on Phantom to never laugh at his attempts. This is only out of spite because he finds him annoying when he does that. That half-amused smirk was a barely contained laugh that almost made him fail.

Alabaster gets pretty flustered when Phantom goes into flirty mode. He knows it’s just how Phantom is sometimes, but he can’t help himself. He loves Phantom’s purrs.
