I just heard about Scott Ruggels' passing. He was an excellent artist and solid citizen. I met him back in the 80's & 90's, through the small press (Barr Wars & Bizarre Wars) and at comics & Furry cons. He was the model for the detective inspector in the Savage Squirrel story "Busted!". Did I ever run that story on here?
I'd commissioned a pic of Reacher & Lester (the US marshals starring in the "Meat on her Bones" story currently running on my FA) awhile back. I was thinking about giving him a nudge, to see how it was coming along. But it's not - Scott is gone. Dammit! Sick of losing old friends. Rest in peace, ol' bud.
