Description

From the crushing depths of the darkest oceans lie unfathomable beasts that dwarf mountains and lay even the most adept naval powers to ruin. One such horror is known as the Nurathrian Archtelopod, a heavily armoured crustacean whose arsenal rivals the cutting-edge weaponry of most armies. Native to the homeworld and planet of the House of Oktikava, Shoao’aomunae, these towering beings bear devastating organic weapons best suited for infantry, armour, monsters, and even demigods. While slightly slow on land, they make up for it within bodies of water with their posterior propellant tubes. This powerful rocket-like organ discharges gas to propel the Archtelopod upward, the crustacean also conceals large paddles to steer it in any direction underwater. Even on land, a single burst from the propellant tubes can lift these heavy beasts two meters high from the ground as either an evasive maneuver or a crushing attack. When these great arthropods are not on the battlefield, they provide excellent security for institutions within the ocean hive worlds. These machine-like organisms have been around since the formation of the Hive, answering the call to war when they needed them most.
