This is a redesigned LGBT flag by Daniel Quasar in 2018. Read more about it HERE.
It didn't bother me, I just didn't understand it. I wasn't against it, I just couldn't grasp an understanding of why it was designed in the first place.
Here's another good article about the POC LGBT flag (without the trans stripes) that came in 2017.The video featured in the article above also illustrates its importance well.
As much as I do not agree or like some discourses and gatekeeping in the LGBT community, I still find home in it as, well, a LGBT person.
Please keep in mind that there are 3 other letters to the OG acronym and isn't just about the big white G ;)And remember: THE FIRST PRIDE WAS A RIOT STARTED BY A BLACK TRANS WOMAN.
