THWOOMP, THERE IT IS
Tag team back again, etc etc...
I think I've wanted to draw Thwomp since playing Mario world in 92, but it took a while..
Always liked this grim guy, he seemed inivincible and implacable and sometimes scared me, primarily due to being really crap at the game initially..
I liked a bunch of the other bad guys and wanted to add them in this pic ( Bobomb, Dry Bones, Chain chomp etc) but couldn't really figure out how to add them into the perspective I wanted for the main fella, Thwomp. )
I know there's a bunch of Boos behind him, I'm not 100% sure if they've appeared in fortress stages at all, but what the hell.. A ghost house setting would have been better, all the brown wood surfaces could have contrasted better, but he'd go right through those floors I guess.
The pics done in copics, I have no way in hell of digitally colouring something atm, so I'm mucking around with markers for a bit.. Looks pretty rough though.
The perspective on Mario's hat ( and the thwomp's base..) looks off too. HMMM.
Gots to draw me a chain chomp, by damn.
