  • My guess is "if something happens, I'm not going to leave you guys a second time." He's had a lot of time thinking this whole thing over, and I loved the part where he found himself unable to drink away this trouble and sorrow.

  • A scene like this really emphasizes how glacial the pacing is.

Not saying it isn't updating often enough of course, I know how much time and effort goes into these things, but it is amusing how this single conversation has been going for a couple months.

  • He said he's putting his foot down. That only ever means a negative deal for the kid. An ultimatum is coming, I bet he's going to make her choose. Dad, or her relationship.

That would be a terrible idea and he knows it. They’ve already moved out and have proven they can at least try to make it without him.

This sounds like some sort of olive branch.

It had better be, because Serah's had an answer for every practical problem he's come up with and she made it clear that she doesn't like him all that much. Might be my experiences talking, but you always, always drop the person that says "them or me."

I don't know if i like him for this or hate him for enforcing his opinion onto Sera.

How is he enforcing his opinion onto her? He is literally saying "I do not like this, I do not condone it, so I am going to distance myself from it. You can continue doing what you want, I'm not going to force you to do anything."

For some reason people seem to be having a hard time coming to terms that incest isn't an accepted practice within the comic's world and that characters can have feelings about it that differ from the twins thoughts on it without being evil monsters.

Though I kind of wonder about her mentioning that they both thought that Keith keeping his distance would be something that would happen. Serah I can believe would be completely fine with that but Seb seemed to be on at least somewhat friendly terms with him to the point that he was willing to talk about relationship issues with him. Feels weird to me that Seb would not at least want a last talk or say goodbye or something.

I imagine the father will offer a way for them to come to him or Jayden for help should something bad happen, which is more than possible considering that Serah didn't actually have any real answer to his questions(I can't tell you the amount of times irl situations go from "we're using protection and being careful" to "oops Im pregnant"). Which is honestly more than fair, especially considering that tmk they are potentially still underage and thus under his care in the legal sense.
It's just weird to me that we have had the comic literally showing us that the father isn't abusive or malicious but someone broken by the death of his partner and the comic is both showing his perspective on things along with others like Jayden who have been shown to care for the kids and meanwhile people are still trying to act like he is an evil villain to beat for the sake of love and that Serah hanging onto what seems to be unfounded resentment forever is a good thing.

Beyond that though is the issue of the mother's death and how it effects everyone, which I doubt is a plot thread that is just going to be kept hanging, especially considering how much it has effected how characters act so far. From Keith's neglect to Serah's resentment.

Possible teaching moment, about how family comes first?

Give the subject matter in this comic, I can't tell if that's a Freudian slip or a deliberate pun, either way, well done, you got a chuckle out of me for it 😂

    God just bang her already...

The very funny thing is even though it is never even remotely realistic in this story no matter when this is requested, there couldn’t possibly be a more ‘Read the Room’ scenario than this exact moment even if you had a team of writers to help concoct one.

To be fair, she never really had a "good" answer though for every problem he presented though. When he brought up the social implications of her and Seb's relationship, her solution was "We'll just keep it our secret for the rest of our lives if we have to"...which isn't a solution at all...it's just trying to ignore the problem. When he questioned about if she got pregnant, she dismissed it with "We're using protection" which isn't always a guaranteed solution.

That's why he snapped and told her this wasn't a game. Her answers to his questions came off more as dismissive instead of addressing the problems posed.

I second this. Pretty much "While you're together, I'm out. If something happens, I'm there."

  • This has a surprising amount of depth for a comic that started off as a quick porno about a brother and sister fooling around in the shower.

  • Predicting it now, this'll probably end with Seb getting home early and fighting Keith for whatever reason

Bro the room is a bunch of furry's beating their meat to underage incest characters, I find it utterly hilarious that my straight up 'lol' comments are DV'd by this crowed pretending to be here for a story. This comic started with a 14yr old bobcat character fucking his sister in the shower... The room has been read, and it looks like inception levels of closeted gooners who can't even accept their degenerate wank material in front of other degenerate wankers. It's so insufferable that one can only laugh, point fun and make comments I know will be ironically DV'd.
Awwwwe, and now I'm going to get a warning for being mean, because I hurt some lonely coomers feelings with the truth, boo hoo.

The issue here is (for me at least) it has yet to be established how severe of an impact their relationship going public will be. The way Keith speaks reads as if they are in very real danger of being physically harmed if their relationship goes public. But as far as i can tell there haven't been anything to reinforce that idea.
So what I think will wind up happening is that at some point it WILL become public knowledge. And much like something similar in western cultures they get ostracized pretty heavily by friends/family and it sucks socially for a long time until they build a new circle of relationships that are more accepting.

Okay... but good porn and good story aren't necessarily mutually exclusive. If both can be achieved, might as well do it.

Perfection is the enemy of complete. I didn't say she had "good" answers, I said she had answers. That shows that she is thinking about the problems and looking for solutions. Speaking as someone who had to realized that their parents were either 100% incorrect, grossly outdated, pushing their own agenda, or straight making shit up, I will never say that disregarding them and finding your own answers is a mistake. Provided you deal with the consequences, always, ALWAYS make your own choice instead of someone else's.
