Since the announcement 'image' was deleted for being text-only and the comment is a ways down, here is the update on Wanderlust for anyone who didn't/couldn't see it:

It is with great displeasure that I announce that after more than half a decade of working with us, that 007Delta has resigned from the Wanderlust Crew due to irreconcilable differences in artistic direction with the rest of the crew, a desire to start his own projects that he is the sole artistic lead on, as well as needing to take a mental health break.

It's no small secret how essential a part to play 007Delta had as a member of our Crew, he was a workhorse that contributed a lot of time towards our effort. However due to these differences in opinions, as well as other matters that will be kept private, it is for the betterment of everyone involved that this separation has occurred. 007Delta has transferred all rights of ownership over his contributions to our Crew, and has given us a permanent unlimited license to continue to utilize his personal characters in our works.

Because 007Delta was such a crucial part of our team, was the lead creative director of the main wanderlust comic, and personally took charge of sketching, coloring, and shading how wanderlust looks in the modern day. We as a crew need time to decide how to move forward. If it is desirable to continue the comic in a new style, or use this break as an opportunity to start something new, with an original IP.

It's no secret that projects like Wanderlust have a target on their backs, due to the ever present nature of Nintendo's legal department. Instead of finishing the comic in a way that would be so stylistically irreconcilable, and knowing how impermanent it can be, we may decide to go towards a direction of fully legitimizing ourselves as an official business, with the protections that incorporation provides, and making something original and new. We hope that we have your support regardless of what we decide.

The patreon has been put on a hold currently, and no new charge will be made at the start of october. All rewards for September will be fulfilled. If you are platinum, and are planning on banking the month for a later piece for an upgrade to your sketch reward, we can discuss either changing your requested reward for the month, or allowing you to pay forward for the upgrade in advance.
