A New Chapter
As long as he could remember, his body would undergo a drastic change when exposed to the light of a full moon. Despite the cliches seen in movies with werewolves, he lived a relatively normal life. It was something to plan for ahead of time and, surprisingly enough, take refuge in when he would shift into a Lycanroc. It was a night to take a break from the daily toils of life as a human to shift focus to living as a wild pokemon. The morning afterwards, he'd wake up, get ready for work and go on with his daily life as if nothing had ever happened. It was easy to keep this secret of his well kept from any of his friends, family and neighbors. How he wished that sometimes he could prolong the night was a constant thought on his mind. In fact, nights of a full moon were something he began to look forward to and plan for. The only inconvenience to him was having to shift back in the morning to rejoin the daily routine he grew accustomed to.
He couldn't quite remember what happened during last night's full moon escapades, but when he woke up that morning, he felt fur on his face as his claw scratched against his cheeks. To his disbelief, that was sunlight warming his coat of fur and not the moonlight he was so used to. Unprepared and not knowing what to do, his wish was granted that night and, for better or for worse, his body lost the ability to change back into his former self.
