And now for something completely different: A FROG
Just a random frog. I was inspired spontaneously by an artist i came across tonight, so I decided to take a ref pic http://www.freakingnews.com/Frog-Pi.....ures--2659.asp and do something lineless/realistic.
Truly, realism is what I wanted to go for, but this account has made it a secondary goal to providing a product for customers. I now have some free time again and I think I could probably be able to work on at least one realism practise pic a week.
If nothing else, my works to date have provided me a valuable amount of anatomy and colour practise, but it's really a matter of less drastic shading and more realistic colours.
So yeah, I can mimic a ref pretty easily... My grass needs work.
Decent frog. Shows what I can do with realistic refs in an hour or two. there will be more to come in future, I'll try to do one study a week at least.
