CODENAME:
Vin

CLASS:
Undocumented class A3 bipedal alien specimen

ACTUAL LOCATION:
Study Cell V1N

PERSONNEL REQUIRED:
4 Class B3 Personnel outside containment cell - Complete Daily Shift.
2 Class S3 Security Personnel - Complete Daily Shift.
2 Class A3 Personnel equipped with Level A lead shielding hazmat suits.

DESCRIPTION:
The specimen is a 1.90 meters tall bipedal multiple limbed alien with features similar to a Myrmecocystus. Specimen features two legs for walking and four arms, fully functional that allows the subject to hold several items as once. The head shape is insect-like, a jaw with a wide mouth, though there are no visible teeth, and two antennae, two concave indents on the side and small horns behind it. Additionally, the creature has an an organ akin to a honey pot ant, measuring 1.30 meters diameter, four gasters on the top and three on the bottom, it also features a rear cavity shaped as a torus of 30 centimeters diameter. The specimen has a phallic organ (further studies required). It’s ‘skin’ of the specimen is light green with darker hues, with an oddly smooth texture to it, though there are no visual joints as in normal arthropods, it seems like the skin is covering the exoskeleton. The specimen has an unknown material suit covering the torso area, with a black latex-esque finish, and unknown devices all around the abdomen organ.

CHARACTER AND BEHAVIOR:
The specimen seems very sociable, it attempts communication (which is a clear sign of intelligence), though 'verbal’ communication always occurs on chittering. The speciment is curious at nearly everything that it finds, doing physical examination with the item using his extremities, rigurously studying said item for few seconds or some minutes, and then proceeds to check the next item close to him. The specimen has no aggressive behavior, even during the transport and containment operations the specimen shows no signs of conflict, in fact seems the creature agreed to come to the facilities.

CASE STUDY LOGS:
-(05/19/2018 03:05 PM) CASE STUDY: Basic senses test: Acoustic and Visual. OBSERVATION NOTES: The antennae work as a multi sensory organ, the speciment antennae reacts to different sound moving the antennae to the direction of the sounds. The concavities on the head has photo sensibility, they do not feature eyes (further studies required), but the creature can distinguish colors. He loves the color yellow. SIDENOTE: We discovered the antennae have the smell sense as wel, since the specimen was attracted to the smell of our instruments. he seems to like the smell of plastic items.

-(05/19/2018 07:21 PM) CASE STUDY: Abdomen studies. OBSERVATION NOTES: We believe as in the anatomy of the honey pot ants, the abdomen serve as a food storage, but we need to analyze the contents to confirm this fact (further studies required). After a quick observation, We conclude the devices works as anti-gravitation devices for aiding in his mobility. The devices don’t procude any kind of magnetic field, nor they emit radiation (further studies required), therefore the beta radiation detected on the subject comes from the abdomen.

-(06/07/2018 10:48 AM) CASE STUDY: Suit strenght testing. OBSERVATION NOTES: Several tests were done on Vin’s suit to study its properties, one particular test suggested by Dr. █████ ███████ was a test of physical impact. The result is the suit works as an armor, responding to physical trauma and absorbing physical damage, we believe is for protect organs that are not protected by the exoskeleton. SIDENOTES: Vin did not defend or fought back, but he was clearly annoyed by this particular experiment. We conclude Vin is a pacific specimen, even after provoked he seems to be civilized.

-(06/12/2018 4:18 AM) CASE STUDY: Abdominal fluid extraction. OBSERVATION NOTES: …
