Kiki and the Dancing Paint
Kiki the Cyber Squirrel is the mascot I designed for Krita, a free and open source digital painting application. This is the splash art I created for Krita 3.0.1, and it was used until version 3.3.
At the time, I was learning composition and color composition. I experimented what I learned so far on this splash. I contrast the shinny, sharp character and the paint with the dark and vague background, to create a strong visual impact.

这是我为自由开源绘画软件 Krita 绘制的启动图，被用作 Krita 3.0.1 至 3.3 版中。角色是我为 Krita 设计的吉祥物电子松鼠琪琪 (Kiki the Cyber Squirrel)。
这张启动图在创作是恰逢我正在学习构图和色彩对比，于是整张图也围绕着这两年来设计。我让轮廓清晰、闪亮的 Kiki 与暧昧的深色背景进行对比，同时让颜料的色彩与几乎完全单色的人物和背景进行对比，试图营造强烈的视觉冲击。
