Seriously though, if I've got something to say about a picture, then it's about the picture. It's not like I was insulting the artist, the person who posted the pic, or even the people who like it. I don't get how people will just butt in and try to refute some idle little quip I said about how old dude's dick looks like it went in through the wrong end of a telescope. Usually "Haters gonna hate" annoys me. When someone's trolling, it's totally fine (to respond with), but when someone posts a legitimate reason for disliking some image, or some reasonable criticism of it, and this is the response...It says "You're a hater, so you're going to hate no matter what, so your opinion is irrelevant and invalid." It's like sticking your fingers in your ear and going "LALALALALALALA."

Man. I just realized there are a LOT of comments I don't like. This is why I don't read them too often.

I take comfort in the fact that no matter how gross/creepy/annoying/dumb any comment I might come across on this site may be, it will never be as bigoted, ignorant and disgusting as any given 8 out of 10 comments from any random yahoo news story.

The thing you have to understand is that when someone posts a legitimate criticism of an artwork, there is a chance that people might read it. And when they read it, they might not have the intellectual capacity to create a legitimate negation towards their claims nor attempt to gain some sort of mutual understanding. Also the comments with no other purpose but to bash the artwork. Everyone has opinions however not everyone likes the same thing and if something is disliked why not just move along instead of pop off at the mouth and make yourself look like a tool. I dont think its right for anyone to belittle someones hard work just because its just not liked
