Not sure if I agree.
Are the american Godzillas part of the official series?
They've adopted him as part of the canon at the very least.

Yes, they're called "Zilla" and are generally treated in-universe as knockoffs of the original Gojiras.
Also, hokey batmancy, Necrowinkle! (Waitaminute...)

Expert here.
So there's two major US made Godzilla movie entries as of now. And two US animated shows. Everything is "official". As long as its made by a studio with authorization from Toho Studios.
The continuities are:
⛩️1954, the original⛩️Showa era (1954-1975) introduced many icons, known for campiness. Lots of alien invasions.
Hanna Barbera: cartoon not connected to the movies. Not worth much acknowledgement imo
⛩️Heisei era (1954+1984-1995) Erased 1955-1975 to tell a new 7 movie story arc
🦎1998 solo continuity: the 1998 US movie. Made drastic changes to the character and was standalone for a time.
🦎1998 + Animated series sequel continuity.
⛩️ 2000 Millennium. Sequel to 1954, not connected to later Showa, Heisei or probably any 1998 things.
⛩️ Godzilla Vs Megaguirus. Another sequel to 1954 not connected to anything else before it.
⛩️🦎GMK Continuity: Another sequel to 1954, only connected to 54 ....& the 1998 US solo movie through a small reference! Retconning the 1998 Godzilla as a "case of mistaken identity on part of the US military"
⛩️Kiryu Saga Continuity: Two sequels to 1954 in 02 & 03. Also connected to more obscure Toho movies from the ⛩️Showa era like Mothra 1961, Frankenstein Conquers the World, Gorath, etc. However the Kiryu saga is not connected to any Showa movies that featured Godzilla in it besides 54. Those are erased for the purpose of this saga's own continuity
⛩️🦎Final Wars: possibly sequel to 1954, possibly standalone, unclear. Does feature many new versions of Showa era monsters and a new version of the Trex-like 1998 "Zilla".
🇺🇲 Several video games
🇺🇲🦎 & Comic book series🇺🇲 Monsterverse (2014-present) not connected to any previous Toho or US media. A complete reboot for Godzilla & King Kong as well.
⛩️ Shin Godzilla: Another total reboot solo movie not connected to any previous movies at all.
⛩️Polygon Anime Trilogy: Another total reboot not connected to any previous movies. Looks like they finally let go of 1954 as the source for all other continuities.
⛩️Singular Point Anime: Another total reboot.
Thanks for the movie trivia, but why do you feel the need to dig up the dead corpse of a thread that has been left buried for the past 9 years?

Resurrectionists come in many shapes and forms, even kaiju-sized.
