What about normal reptiles? I mean, you wouldn't peg a regular Corgie as a "furry". Why a regular iguana as a "scalie"?
Also pangolins. They be mammals.

I also wouldn't tag any non-anthro dragonoid as scalie, though I would hesitate to name them "feral" either, considering typical intelligence levels.

Normal reptiles already are implicated to scalie. Reptile -> scalie is one of the oldest implications. From what I've understood, scalie is just an umbrella tag like marine.
But good point about pangolins. I guess this implication wouldn't work.
