I would say yes to the chocolate implication, no to the coin implication.

Wiki for coin says: "A circular piece of metal commonly used as currency."

ehh, there are instances in real life where other materials were used for legal tender coins, the current Wikipedia page for coin mentions one being porcelain.

True, the wiki could be expanded.
Still, a piece of chocolate shouldn't imply an actual coin used as currency.

To be fair, I wouldn't tag a gingerbread_house as being a type of house, unless the gingerbread house is somehow size-appropriate (e.g., large enough to fit a regular person, small enough to be lived in by a micro, etc.).
So, in the case of chocolate_coin, it would be best for it to stay separated.

In this case with defining coin, all forms of coins could be considered regardless of material type (with gold_coin being specific to the metal). This includes "seemingly" gold coins being handed out as candy during Halloween, which should be tagged regardless according to TWYS.
Only if the insides of the coin is revealed to be chocolate should you tag it as chocolate_coin.
