Found a small bug when accessing the site with Opera browsers. If I got a post with webm running on one tab and switch to another in the window, the audio plays as normal. But when I switch back to the webm's tab after letting it play for a bit (10 seconds or more it looks like), the video gets delays from the audio by about 1 second. Sometimes the audio flickers back for a fraction of a second, or both skip forward a bit.
- Repeatable on both desktop (Windows 10) and laptop (Windows 11).
- Repeatable with Opera and Opera GX.
- Repeatable with any webm posted by myself or others.
- Repeatable with very short videos (<10s) IF looping offscreen.
- Repeatable if switching to another tab with webm, including duplicates of original tab.
- Repeatable if tab has been muted.
- Not repeatable with Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
- Not repeatable with other video-hosting websites.
- Interacting with a second window does not cause it.
- Resyncs after refreshing the page, manually moving the slider, or looping when tab is selected.
- Once got the glitch to occur when the video was paused and it unpaused weird.
I was touching grass when the update added AV1 MP4 support, so I don't know if this has to do with that change and if it started around then.
